  11.     What's new in 4.2?
  12.  
  13. o   Because the random Hello and Goodbye lines were not always appropriate
  14.     now the program still presents an at random picked line, but you can
  15.     select a different one.
  16.  
  17. o   While editing a tag line, you can call a High Ascii Character Pick
  18.     List by pressing Ctrl-A or Alt-A.
  19.  
  20. o   TmNice can now be used with Blue Wave or any other mailer. However,
  21.     some of the nice features of the TerMail/TmNice team are not
  22.     available.
  23.  
  24. o   A minor bug in the 'Edit a Tag Line' routine is fixed.

  26.     O.K. now the simple installation:

  30. 1.  As usual: if you use the program then it is at your own risk.
  31.     By starting TMNICE.EXE or TMN-CONF.EXE you agree with this
  32.     condition. For more information read the text at the end of
  33.     this file.

  37. 2.  Go to the TMNICE directory and put all TmNice 4.2 files in that
  38.     directory. Simply copy the new .EXE, .DOC and .HLP files over the
  39.     old files.
  40.  
  41.     You might have a look at Dave Wapstra's latest version of TagScan 4.2
  42.     and if you use Blue Wave you should unpack BLUEWAVE.ZIP.

  46. 3.  VERY IMPORTANT! Now start TMN-CONF.EXE to re-configure TmNice. Do
  47.     _not_ skip the Help text! It gives you valuable information!
  48.

  51. 4.  After completing all questions, TMN-CONF.EXE has created the file
  52.     TMNICE.INI and the file TM.CFG will be modified for use with
  53.     TmNice. DO NOT WORRY! TMN-CONF.EXE always creates back-up files
  54.     of TM.CFG and TMNICE.INI. You can run TMN-CONF.EXE as often as
  55.     you like, you can restore your initial set-up any time. This you can
  56.     achieve by copying a numbered backup file to the original one e.g.
  57.     COPY INI-BAK.005 TMNICE.INI   The same goes for the TM.CFG file.

  61. 5   O.K. you are now ready to begin creating new messages. Before asking
  62.     me questions, look in the 'Help', please. Do NOT delete the
  63.     file TMNICE.HLP from the TMNICE directory, otherwise no online
  64.     help will be available with the [F1] function key in TmNice.

  66.     You can also start TmNice's Help from the DOS prompt by typing
  67.  
  68.       TMNICE /HELP
  69.  
  70.     Then press the [Enter] key.

  72.     Oh! Before I forget... if you have installed TmNice properly and
  73.     it runs to your satisfaction, then look in the Help, please.
  74.     Select 'Contents' and 'Variable Hello'. This is a new feature
  75.     you might like using too.

  80.     replying with TerMail easier. Many good idea's from users have
  81.     been implemented, so actually it is not 'my program' but it
